LytaRetail is a cloud-first retail management platform built by LytaWorks. It combines point-of-sale, inventory tracking, expense management, team roles, and business analytics into one unified workspace — accessible from a browser or a Windows desktop app.
When you sign up, you get full access to your chosen plan for 30 days — no credit card required. You can set up your shops, add products, invite your team, and run real transactions. At the end of the trial, you choose a plan to continue. Nothing is deleted if you decide to subscribe.
Your account is paused — your data is safe and nothing is deleted. You'll be prompted to pick a plan to reactivate. We give you a grace period to make that decision without losing anything.
Yes. The Starter plan supports up to 5 shop locations from a single account. The Growth plan offers unlimited locations, so you can run a chain of stores — all visible from one dashboard with per-shop reporting.
Yes. The Windows desktop app stores your data locally and syncs when a connection is available. This makes it ideal for shops in areas with unreliable connectivity — sales keep moving even when the internet doesn't.
LytaRetail supports multiple currencies including Ghana Cedis (₵ GHS), Nigerian Naira (₦ NGN), US Dollars ($ USD), and Euros (€ EUR). Currency is configured at the shop level, so different locations can operate in different currencies.
There are three roles: Owner, Manager, and Attendant. Owners have full access across all shops. Managers can run daily operations — sales, inventory, expenses — within their assigned shops. Attendants handle front-line sales only. Every action is recorded in the audit log.
Yes. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Role-based access means each team member only sees what they are permitted to see. A tamper-proof audit log records every significant action, so you always know who did what and when.
Yes. LytaRetail supports bulk product imports so you don't have to enter hundreds of items manually. If you need help migrating from a spreadsheet or another system, reach out to us at info@lytaworks.com and we'll assist.
LytaRetail runs in any modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) and as a native Windows desktop application. The web version syncs to the cloud in real time; the desktop app works offline and syncs when connected.
